What Is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention combined with increased responsiveness to suggestion.
You may already be familiar with experiences that feel somewhat similar — becoming absorbed in a movie, losing track of time while doing something creative or driving a familiar route while your mind is focused elsewhere.
Clinical hypnosis intentionally uses focused attention, relaxation and therapeutic suggestion to support a particular goal.
- You are not unconscious.
- You are not asleep.
- You do not lose control.
During hypnosis, you remain aware and able to communicate, move, accept or reject suggestions and participate in the process.
Think less mind control and more mind collaboration.

What Is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis to support behavioral, emotional and personal change.
Your conscious mind may know:
- “I want to stop doing this.”
- “I don't want to react this way anymore.”
- “I know what I should be doing.”
Yet the old pattern continues.
Many behaviors become deeply learned and automatic. Hypnotherapy gives us another way to work with those patterns by combining focused attention with imagery, suggestion, emotional processing and new ways of responding.
Research into clinical hypnosis continues to expand, particularly in areas such as pain management, irritable bowel syndrome and procedure-related anxiety. Evidence is stronger for some applications than others, and hypnosis is best understood as a complementary approach rather than a cure-all.

What Can Hypnotherapy Help With?
People seek hypnotherapy for many different reasons.

Some want to change a habit.
Others want to feel calmer, more confident or less reactive.
Some understand intellectually but haven't been able to change the response.
Hypnotherapy may support goals involving:
- Stress management and relaxation
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Habit change
- Fears and phobias
- Motivation and personal performance
- Emotional eating and healthier behaviors
- Weight-management support
- Smoking cessation support
- Sleep and relaxation habits
- Relationship patterns and communication
- Personal growth and life transitions
For diagnosed medical or psychological conditions, hypnotherapy is used in conjunction with appropriate medical or mental-health care and within the practitioner's professional scope.

Stop Smoking With Hypnotherapy
Ready to Kick Those Butts to the Curb?
This treatment is designed for people who are genuinely ready to change their relationship with smoking and want to use hypnosis as part of that process.
All new clients must complete the complimentary consultation before this session can be booked.
$299 | Approximately 2 Hours
You already know why you want to stop smoking.
So why can it still feel so difficult?
Because smoking isn't only about nicotine. Over time, cigarettes can become deeply connected with routines, emotions and daily behaviors.
- Coffee and a cigarette.
- Driving and smoking.
- Stress and smoking.
- Taking a break and smoking.
Your conscious mind may be completely ready to quit while those practiced associations continue running automatically.
Beth's Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy session focuses on the behavioral habits, triggers and subconscious associations surrounding smoking while reinforcing your personal decision and motivation to become smoke-free.
Rather than relying on willpower alone, hypnosis gives you another way to work with the patterns that have helped keep the habit in place.

Hypnosis for Overcoming Anxiety & Sadness
Your personalized sessions may focus on:
- Panic & Anxiety
- Motivation
- Tools To Regulate
- Releasing Old Beliefs
- Confidence
- Resolving Triggers
- Healthier Communication
- Your Relationship With Yourself
When anxiety keeps your mind racing or sadness makes you feel even heavier, it can be exhausting to keep pushing through each day while pretending everything is ok.
Hypnotherapy can help quiet the mental chatter, resolve the patterns beneath the feelings and gently guide your submind to more supportive responses. It will create space for you to feel calmer, more peaceful and content to help you feel more like yourself again.
Hypnosis is not a magic, it is however, transformative.
It is a powerful resource for helping your behaviors and responses better align with your goals and intentions. *Diagnosed conditions require a prescription or referral for hypnotherapy.

Hypnosis for Confidence And Self-Esteem
The way you speak to yourself matters
Thoughts repeated often enough can begin to feel like facts:
I'm not good enough.
I'll probably mess this up.
Other people are better at this than I am.
This is just who I am.
But a familiar thought is not necessarily a true thought.
Hypnotherapy can help you explore limiting internal narratives and begin strengthening healthier beliefs, emotional responses and ways of seeing yourself.
The goal isn't to become someone else.
It's to become more comfortable being you.

NLP-Informed Techniques
Practical Tools for Interrupting Old Patterns
Beth is also a Master NLP Practitioner, and NLP-informed techniques may be incorporated into sessions when appropriate.
NLP focuses on the relationship between thoughts, language and behavior and provides practical tools for recognizing and interrupting habitual patterns.
Techniques may be used to support:
- Changing negative thinking patterns
- Interrupting unwanted habits
- Redirecting behaviors
- Improving emotional responses
- Increasing motivation
- Supporting confidence and performance
NLP is used as one part of Beth's broader personalized approach rather than as a one-size-fits-all system.
Become Your Own Hypnotherapist

Our goal isn't to make you dependent upon hypnotherapy.
Quite the opposite.
Beth's approach is designed to help you develop practical tools you can continue using long after your sessions are complete.
You may learn techniques involving:
Focused breathing
Guided imagery
Self-hypnosis
Mindfulness
Internal dialogue
Intentional suggestion
Pattern interruption
Over time, the question can shift from:
“Why do I keep doing this?”
to
“What would I like to do instead?”
That creates an entirely different relationship with change.
What Happens During a Hypnotherapy Session?
Your experience begins with conversation.
You'll discuss what you'd like to change, what you've already tried, what seems to trigger the pattern and what success would look and feel like for you.
Beth then develops an approach based around you rather than using the exact same approach for every client.
During hypnosis, you'll typically relax comfortably while Beth guides you into a more focused state of attention.

Beth develops resources for ongoing support.
Your session may incorporate imagery, metaphor, suggestion, mindfulness, NLP-informed techniques and other approaches based upon your goals.
Afterward, you'll discuss the experience and may receive techniques or practices to use between sessions.
Some people notice changes quickly.
Others experience change more gradually as new responses are practiced and reinforced.
There is no required number of sessions and no responsible practitioner can guarantee a specific result.
For new clients, a minimum of three sessions is recommended.
Past-Life Regression
Explore Through Hypnosis
For clients interested in a more transpersonal or spiritual experience, Beth also offers Past-Life Regression sessions.
Past-Life Regression uses hypnosis and guided imagery to explore experiences that may be interpreted personally, symbolically or spiritually.
The value of the session does not depend upon proving whether a past-life experience is historically literal.
For many people, the experience provides an opportunity for reflection, meaning-making and exploration of themes that feel significant in their present life.
Past-Life Regression sessions are typically longer than standard hypnotherapy appointments and are only scheduled after an initial consultation.

Important Information About Diagnosed Conditions
Hypnotherapy is a complementary modality and is not a substitute for appropriate medical, psychological or psychiatric care.
If you are seeking hypnotherapy for a diagnosed medical or mental-health condition, a prescription or referral from your physician or appropriately licensed treating provider is required before hypnotherapy can begin.
During your complimentary consultation, Beth can explain this requirement and help you determine what documentation may be needed.
Why Start With a Consultation?
Because hypnosis should be personalized.
Your consultation gives Beth the opportunity to understand your goals before recommending a session or approach.
It also gives you the opportunity to ask questions, understand how hypnosis works and decide if we are a good match to help you succeed.
There is no charge and no obligation.
